Kyubi Kitsunes are described as being fox creatures with nine tails. Kyubi Kitsunes have the combined abilities of some normal Kitsunes; they have the ability to use natural powers, the ability to read messages in the stars, and the ability to change their form at will. Some Kyubi Kitsunes have abilities of their very own that no other Kitsunes have. They are often compared to Karasu Tengus because of their mischievous ways, but their beauty is admired by all who witness their presence. They are the highest Kitsune class.

Kyubi Kisunes are very rare, in contrast to the numerous Kitsunes that exist in Japan. There are two different types of Kyubi Kitsunes: The Tenko (the good celestial Kyubi Kitsunes) and the Reiko (the evil Tenkos of the dark void). Tenko Kitsunes have been known to spawn great harvests wherever they roamed.
