Sketch Tucker was born in New York City under his parents Ken and Sally Tucker. As he grew his parents noticed his amazing creativity and mentality as well as his great interest in technology. His imagination liked to run away with him, and he seemed to act very childlike no matter how old he was. He also began to gain an interest in the cultures of Japan. At the age of 18, Ken and Sally had marital problems, and to avoid getting into a mess Sketch decided to move out. He arrived in Zaibatsu and tried several jobs to make a living, his most recent being as a stock boy in a convenience store. He had befriended Jamal Bombardo, the new rabbit in town, who had apparently left his home in Japan. Jamal had not long after revealed himself to be a Tengu and asked for Sketch's assistance in defeating Russell Skidriff, a dangerous Tengu bent on destroying the world. Sketch agreed, and Jamal made him the Storm Tengu, capable of using the powers of water and lightning, the most capable of Sketch being the latter of the two powers. After he had been fired from his old job, Jamal suggested he make his own business, he would manage a factory that could build new forms of technology and machinery. Intrigued by the idea, Sketch decided to give it a go. They had gained two new employees, Donna Paige and Iris Chymara, who were indeed good at making machines. They had soon become worthy of becoming Ko Tengus, but despite their new powers, they had the most interest in Sketch. After the girls entered his house unwelcome, Sketch did not want to get involved with them anymore. But after realizing that such actions cannot always be controlled, he's planning to keep his guard in case the girls plot anything else...

Ever since Sketch entered the outside world people continuously questioned his blue fur. He had known his father also to have blue fur and had told everyone else so. Despite much teasing about it, Sketch didn't want to change his fur color, as he found it to be a symbol of his individuality.
